Charlotte Symphony and Shain Gallery join forces to raise money for the symphony. 
The gala was held at the South Park Outdoor Symphony Shell and was designed around the paintings of Geoffrey Johnson and Kim Schuessler.

Gabrielle Shain, owner of Shain Gallery, welcomes the symphony's new music director, Christopher Warren-Green, at a reception in his honor at the gallery. Warren-Green, the music director of London Chamber Orchestra, will succeed Christof Perick in September 2010. Warren-Green plans to move his family to Charlotte by January.
