Berkley Wooten has had art training through the university level and beyond. From 2003, she has been recognized regionally and nationally, including artwork displayed in the Corcoran Gallery, the U.S. Capitol, and private collections and businesses across the country.

Berkley paints primarily with acrylic and ink. She paints the way she sees the world – full of joy, movement, and layers waiting to be discovered. She uses palette knives, brushes, tools, and fingers to scratch and manipulate the wood panels – because paintings are nothing if not alive.

Berkley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in Burlington, NC with her husband Jack and daughters Monroe (4) and McRay (1). She cares about art in the local community and serves as a board member on the Alamance Arts Council.
